b. Transfer from the airport to the city of Sfax: Please email us on logistics@syflat.tn and we will help you book your transfer.
Transfer from Sfax to the congress venue in Sousse will be provided for free for the participants attending both events (please make sure you notify us as soon as possible as places are limited).

ISFC48 Congress (18-21 March 2023): 

a. Venue: The Congress will be held at the Bellevue Park***** hotel, Port El-Kantaoui, Sousse. Participants will be staying at the same hotel https://www.sentidobellevue.com/Sentido-Bellevue-Park-ACCUEIL_lang,fr,pid,51345,type,menue.html 


b. Accommodation and daily access: Various packages are available as indicated in the following table:

*Each participant will have to pay a tax of 3 TND per night upon arrival to the hotel

c. Moving around Sousse: Port El-Kantaoui is within a walking distance from the Bellevue Park hotel. To visit other locations like Sousse centre and the medina we recommend the metered taxi service (yellow cars). 

2. Travel information 


Sfax (for the pre-congress) and Sousse (for the congress) are accessible via four main Tunisian airports: 

  • Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) – 1h45m to Sousse, 3h15m to Sfax

  • Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport (MIR) – 40m to Sousse, 1h50 to Sfax

  • Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport (NBE) – 35m to Sousse, 2h10m to Sfax 

  • Sfax–Thyna International Airport (SFA)- 10m to pre-congress venue-1h45m to Sousse

 

Transfer service from and to airports 

The Organising Committee has secured preferential rates for the ISFC48 participants. To book your shuttle bus/taxi please email logistics@syflat.tn and specify your arrival and departure times, airport terminal and flight number. 

Travel restrictions due to COVID-19

Foreign citizens wishing to visit Tunisia are advised to check the latest information before planning a trip to Tunisia. Entry requirements are subject to change.

About Sfax

Situated 270 km southeast of the capital Tunis and 134 km from the city of Sousse, Sfax is a historical city built on the remnants of two ancient settlements, namely Tabarura and Thenai. Among the city’s historical heritage is Medina which is surrounded by ramparts dating back to the ninth century. Other historical sites include Dar Jellouli Museum, The Archaeological Museum, and The Great Mosque. About Sousse

Located south of the capital Tunis at around 140 km, Sousse is considered as one of the most popular coastal resorts in Tunisia, with a variety of cultural and historical attractions.
